The Bash is coming The Bash is coming!!!

Yes the Bash is less than two weeks away. We are looking forward to seeing all of you June 16, 2007. The 4th Annual Churchill Alumni Summer Bash will be moving this year. We will be at the Nankin Mills Pavilion located on Hines Drive east of Ann Arbor Trail. This way we will be closer to the areas were we grew up. Don't forget this is a free event and open to all Alumni no matter what year you graduated. We have people from almost every year show up. What a great way to stay in touch with classmates between reunions.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail to everyone you know. It is amazing who we have met but didn't know they were Churchill Alumni until we started promoting the Bash. Not that Gayle and I have any slow months, but June seems to be our busiest, next to the months Gayle has a Concert with Livonia Civic Chorus. Besides the Churchill Alumni web site, Summer Bash and message board, Gayle and I are also very involved in the Livonia Civic Chorus, The Historic Wayne Theatre and we also host Charity Car Shows. If you can't make the Bash please join us at one of the following events. Here is an update of this upcoming month.

• June 9th will be a local Rock Concert headlining will be the last show for FallPrey as we know them. The lead singer Amanda Jacob will be leaving FallPrey due to vocal complications. Her last show will be at the Historic Wayne Theatre. FallPrey has a sound very much like Evanescence.
  
  
• June 16th starts out early as Gayle and I host the Livonia Churchill 4th Annual Summer Bash for all Alumni of Livonia Churchill at the Nankin Mills Pavilion. The Bash is open to All Churchill Alumni as a way for everyone to stay in touch each year. This event is free. We will be having some drawings and an auction. All money raised above expenses are donated to the Western Wayne Skill Center. We are also inviting any of the Nankin Mills Jr. High Alumni. When the school districts split in 1969 we lost a lot of friends who went to Glenn and Churchill.
  
  
• At 6:00pm we open the first showing of the Rocky Horror Show at the Wayne Theatre. Gates open at 6:00pm , Costume contest at 7:00 and the show starts at 8:00pm This show is 18 and up.
  
  
• June 23rd is the first Impersonator night. With local Tyrone doing his Ray Charles Impersonation. Joining Tyrone will be Buddy Holly and Gene Pitney. With our MC / Magician Justin doing Magic between sets.
  
  
• June 25th is the Don Nicholson's Charity Car Show at the Western Wayne Skill Center. www.DonNicholson.net/carshow.html. This show is a benefit for the Skill Center, a Vo-Tec School for special needs young adults. Our host judges for the prestigious award designed by Artist Sergio DeGiusti (Sergio is the artist that designed the Bronze reliefs in Hart Plaza as part of the Labor Monument) will be Mayor Al Haidous, Mayor Dan Paletko and Mayor Bill Wild.
  
  Last but definitely not least,,,,,
  
  
• June 30th is our first Acoustic Night ~ Jesse Passage, Travis Piccolo, Ryan Ladell, Urban Sparrows. A great evening for all ages to enjoy a nice relaxing evening at the Theatre.

I would also like to announce that this newsletter is going out to just over 800 Churchill Graduates for the first time. In just under 3 short years we have grown. We still have a long way to grow.
